Sound Tradition, Lewes Saturday Folk Club
Sound Tradition (www.soundtradition.co.uk) are an a cappella folk foursome (David, Linda, Catherine & Moose) singing in glorious harmony. Their varied repertoire ranges from lively chorus songs to lilting ballads, & from medieval time to the modern day, but always with the flavours of the English folk tradition. They are much in demand at folk music festivals and folk clubs all round the country (and abroad).
Sound Tradition will give us two forty-five minutes sets and the rest of the evening is filled by members of the audience performing a song or tune if they wish.
Everyone is welcome, especially if you'd like to sing or play. We mostly sing and play traditional music from the British Isles, but we enjoy other styles as well. We always start off with some English dance tunes for anyone with an instrument to join in.
We have a loyalty card. Six visits earn you £5 off an evening when admission is £5 or more. It's £7 tonight.... See MoreSee Less

The two music stages, food court, real ale, cider and gin bars are hidden inside a 19th century walled garden" - and that's good enough for us!... See MoreSee Less
