Sound Tradition at Harwich International Shanty Festival
Set in historic Harwich, and spread among the town's many fine pubs and the marvellous Harwich Redoubt, this is a lovely festival, affording everyone a good chance to hear, and sing, all manner of shanties and sea-songs, some big and rousing, others quiet and contemplative. With cask upon cask of great ale, provided by the wonderful Harwich Town Brewing Co, this is a social weekend without parallel.... See MoreSee Less
Sound Tradition at Stafford Folk Club
The Bird in Hand, Victoria Road, Stafford, ST16 2AQ Map
A first time for us at this lovely club (I've spoken with others who have been there!), we join a list of wonderful guests and cannot wait to bring our music to the audience here. An evening of (very) trad, a capella, four-voice folk singing awaits, with plenty of opportunity to join or, if you'd rather, to just sit back and let the harmonies carry you away.... Sound Tradition at Hadleigh Folk and Acoustic Music Nights
The Ansell Centre, Hadleigh, Suffolk.
A great local club, immersed in the tradition and visited by numerous wonderful singers and musicians over the years; we're very much looking forward to coming beck and to bringing our songs to such a fine audience. We really hope to persuade a good number of people out of their mid-winter/post Xmas torpor, to join us for an evening of harmonies and big singing!... See MoreSee Less
Sound Tradition at Nether Edge Folk Club
8 Nether Edge Road, Sheffield, S7 1RU, United Kingdom Map
Nether Edge Folk Club Says
This is a very welcome return for four masters of the craft of acapella. They came a couple of years ago and were a huge hit. If you did not see them that time, make a point of coming along for this date.
Sound Tradition Say:
We are really chuffed to have been asked back to this lovely club in a fine venue; a chance to re-connect with all our Sheffield-based friends and to bring our songs to one of the strongest homes of the true tradition, i.e. Yorkshire. Invitations to join us will follow in due course and I really hope we can fill the place to the rafters!
Get your tickets early, we may well sell out.... See MoreSee Less
